Do I need to edit my theme code? +
No. QuickFiles uses Shopify's Online Store 2.0 app blocks. One click to add the upload widget to your product pages — no code, no developers, no headaches.
Where are files stored? +
Cloudflare R2, a global cloud storage network. Files upload directly from your customer's browser to Cloudflare's edge — fast, reliable, and no middleman services that can go down.
How do I download customer files? +
File links appear on each Shopify order as line item properties. Just click the link to download — works right in your existing Shopify admin. No extra app or dashboard needed.
What happens when files expire? +
Files are automatically cleaned up after the retention period: a full 12 months on every paid plan, and 24 months on Pro. That's built for made-to-order shops with long lead times — custom print, engraving, jewellery — where you may need the original file long after the order was placed. (The free plan keeps files for 3 months.) Most merchants download files immediately for fulfillment, so this keeps your storage clean either way.
